Yesterday our little Mason turned 3! I know. I can't believe it either! I hate it that it seems the boys are growing up so fast (and the girl is taking forever to get here!) It makes me sad to think that Mason is not my baby anymore! I'm not sure how he will handle having a new baby around the house. Last week he joined the boys in their room and we painted his old room from blue and yellow to pink and brown. He was not happy. But now he is doing better and seems to like being with his brothers! YEA! I am trying to get him ready for a new sister, him being a big brother and my little helper and he is pretty excited-so lets hope it lasts!

We have a whole bunch of Little People toy sets and Mason LOVES them. So he got some more...he was so excited! I just love how he is sticking his tongue out in this pic!
Hayden was sitting next to him and Mason was obviously feeling threatened by his presence. He was not wanting to share his toys just yet- hence the evil warning look-"if you touch my toys-you're dead!"
Hayden is at a much safer distance...all is well. Phew!
We made cupcakes and I WAS going to make them into a caterpillar, you know...like the one his daddy had when he was little...but it didn't happen. Instead he got a candle and sprinkles. He loved it just the same!

He's adorable! I'm sad too that he won't be your baby, but more happy about you getting your girl!!! I'm so glad Mason will be in Bossy's class. Crazy blonde boys. And I love that you just made the birthday a family affair. I always say I'm going to until their 4th birthday, and I NEVER have, I always make it a big deal. Boston's this year is going to be Cinco De Mayo De Boston....I do what I can to fit Mexican BBQ into my horrible diet!
