History Rocks!

Hayden's class had their annual History Rocks program
last week.  Hayden was Benjamin Franklin, he did
SOOOOOO good!  I was so proud of him:)

Hayden had the longest speech and he memorized the whole thing,
he told me he felt like he was going to throw up in the
microphone, luckily he didn't:)

Here he is with Abe Lincoln and Marco Polo
(sorry for the blurry pics)

The women
 All the "men"

He did such a great job and it was so fun to watch
him and practice his speech with him.  His teacher came up
to me after the program and told me how well Hayden did
on his presentation and everything (they also did their own pin point
presentation and posters)

They have to do another one before school is out, he told me next time
he wants to be someone with a rifle!  haha
Oh and Emmaree had a princess party at her friend
Lily's this week, she was so excited!

It was soooo cute:)

Great Grandma

Every Sunday the grand kids who live in
Joseph City get to spend an afternoon with my grandma
and feed her dinner.
We love having our turn with Great Grandma
and the kids are always excited for her to come over.
One memory I have is going to visit my grandpa and
grandma on Sundays with my parents and
brothers and sisters and there almost
always being a huge puzzle on the kitchen table
that someone was working on.

Emmaree got 4 princess puzzles for Christmas that
she loves and she can already do ALL BY HERSELF!
Some mornings before she even comes out of her room
she will be sitting on the floor in her bedroom,
putting her puzzles together.
You can bet that I was ready to show her off to my grandma
when she came over today:)

My grandma was very impressed
with how well Emmaree put them together,
it was so cute watching them do the puzzles together,
I am so glad I was able to snag a few
pics:)

Hayden walked grandma across the street when
she was ready to go home, if you look close you'll notice
he has her arm.
This picture makes me happy!
Love you Grandma!

A tiny bit late

Wow!

It really has been a long time since I have blogged.
I have to admit I just haven't been in the mood for it lately:(

Just a quick update from my last post about Austin...
He is doing AMAZING!!!
You wouldn't be able to tell by looking at him that he almost lost
his life a few months ago.  This week I got to
go and watch him play basketball, it was a good
feeling to see him out there.

Our family has been so blessed by our Heavenly Father and
through the power of prayer.  It is an
experience I will never forget and just want to thank everyone
again for all that you did for us.
