Here's Beau taking a break from getting set up! Tanner is trying to figure out how to dump him out so he can have a turn!
All in all the camping trip was great! We played cards, ate the best meals ever and it rained just enough to make it nice and not too much that it was miserable! But we did have about 15 minutes of my worst nightmare- Mason ran off and we lost him. One minute he was there playing w/all the kids- the next he was gone. We couldn't find him anywhere! We had people in the next camp helping us look and I was so scared! Every story I'd ever heard about little kids getting lost in the woods was running through my mind. It didn't seem real, like it could be happening to us. I kept praying over and over that we'd find him! Finally Mike found him down the side of the mountain, walking down a road crying, calling for me! He had gone pretty far and I'm so glad Mike found him so fast! (Even though that was definetly the longest 10-15 minutes ever). I can't imagine what it would've been like if we didn't find him. I know the Lord heard our prayers and helped us find him!

we love to go camping at bear canyon lake! I love going on a monday and having the whole lake to myself so no one sees me in my gross bikini and I can tan all day while Jase fishes with the kids. That's my ideal camping! Who's with you guys? Um, and I LOVE your hair darker!

That looks like so much fun! I was sorry to hear about the Mason fiasco! I'm glad you guys found him so quickly, poor little guy. The picture of Beau in the hammock reminded me of an incident that happened to me when our family went camping with the Tubbs'. Ask Beau if he remembers what happened when he started pushing me a little to high!
Ok! I asked Beau and he just laughed! He says he remembers going camping w/ you guys but can't remember what happened! You'll have to fill me in! Especially if its something I can give him a hard time about!
I enjoyed seeing the pictures of all the kids, they're all so cute. As I looked at the pictures, I remembered the same camping trip that Alona mentioned, it was really fun. Terri and Lyle are the best dutch oven cookers ever. I could tell you a few stories about Beau!!
