We went on a Fathers day picnic this year in the forest! It
was so nice to be out of the wind and the dirt, even if it was for only a day.
We hiked back to an old family camping spot that is now blocked off
because of the Rodeo/Chedeski fire 10 years ago.
The spot itself is untouched by the fire but the roads are
blocked off and you can't drive back there:(
Lyle and Terri came along with us.
Here is Lyle walking with the 3 boys:)
Terri fried up some chicken for our picnic-
YUMMMMM!
Mason will eat anything if you tell him it's
chicken- he LOVES chicken!
Mason found a tree that had been knocked over,
he had a blast on this thing!
He ripped the back of his shirt jumping off so
now his shirt has a new name- it
is now called his "forest shirt!"
3 generations of Tubbs:
Hayden, Beau, Lyle, Mason & Tanner
I had no idea Mason was back there...
I'm sure he was giving us bunny ears!
(something he learned from Hayden I'm guessing)
The perfect way to end a picnic
is with a nap, right?!
