There are two things you can always count on for Founders Day in
Joseph City. One is that family and friends will always come home to celebrate
and the second is that the wind WILL be blowing.
Here is an example...My brother-in-law Mike, leading the parade and
all 3 pics I took of him- the flag was wrapped around his face cuz of the wind!
Here are my fav parts of the day!
My little Briggie:) Well not mine...yet! I tell my sister
all the time I want her and one of these days she's going to
tell me yes!
This little bug was soooo tiny. Its hard to tell how small in the pic
but Beau said he kept waiting for a bunch of clowns to jump out!
My daddy:)
The Bairds did a little skit where his...I mean her- car broke down!
It was funny!
Andrea and Mike...without the flag face! I love the way they are smiling
at each other!
And my very fav was the one my kids were in of course!
They were so tired from pushing and pulling this handcart in
the wind...they definitely got a real taste of being a pioneer.
This pic looks like it could almost be a real pioneer
family, if it were in black and white, no truck in the back and
Hayden wasn't wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers hoodie!
What a stud!
cowboy Mason! Love him!
Look at them go! It was so cold this day too, I
was so proud of them!
Later my dad took Tanner for a ride on the horses.
Tanner loves it when my dad takes him out, I
wish they could go more!
Happy 135th JC! I LOVE this little town and
everyone in it!

I wish I could have been there! I miss JC!
Founder's day was so neat! I've never come up for one and I'm glad I got to come, it made me proud of the town my mom's from.
I love JC! One of these days I might let you have Briggie.... maybe ....
