Last week we had tons of fun while Beau was home! It went by way too fast! The boys were so surprised when they woke up Tuesday and their dad was home! I love watching them wrestle their daddy! On Wednesday we surprised the boys again and took them to Polar Express in Williams. (We took Emmaree too... after 7 months its still hard to get out of the habit of saying "the boys!")
We had a lot of time to kill before we got to board our train so we went on a horse pulled carriage ride. It was so cold! The next day Mason kept saying "RAZ WALK!" cuz thats what our driver kept saying over and over! Such a cutie! (Mason...not the driver!) We didn't get home til after eleven pm. I was so tired! I don't know how I used to stay up so late! The boys had a blast though!
Thursday my siblings and their spouses ,minus Blaine :( me, Beau, Austin and a couple of the kids went and played football at the park. This is the second year we did this and YES, I was on the winning team again! I'm not sure if it had to do with the fact that I was the only girl on my team and Beau was the only boy on his team, but whatever...we still won!
On Friday Beau and I had our 11 year anniversary! He spoiled me with presents and a date to Flag without ANY kids! We got all our Christmas shopping done and survived black friday!
Unfortunately Saturday came. I was hoping somehow it wouldn't- but since Beau was leaving that afternoon he got out all our Christmas stuff and we decorated, he even put up the lights on the house for Mason!
So now we are ready for Christmas! I love this time of year! I love the spirit of Christmas! The songs, the stories, being with family, doing old traditions with the kids and making new ones! But mostly I am excited for Christmas because thats when Beau is going to be home again!
