Our little Emmaree

On Thursday Morning at 12:43 am I woke up soaking wet. Before I even walked into the bathroom I was excited because I knew my water had broke (my water has broke with all my pregnancies now except Mason, they broke it in the hospital) and we'd be getting our little girl soon!
I was a little worried about waking Beau up. He had only gotten about 4 hours of sleep the last 2 nights because he was working nights. But I had to. I nudged him. He looked at me and rolled over. I told him "Beau- my water broke" He looked and I'm sure just figured "of course she would come tonight." We have gone in w/all of them in the middle of the night AND he hadn't had any sleep! Oh well!
Beau's mom came over to stay with the boys and we headed for the hospital at about 1:45 am.
We got there and I was dilated to almost a 2.
UGH.
So we both went to sleep. The nurse said the doctor would be in about 8am to start me on an IV w/ something to start my contractions. (By the way my nurse was AWESOME! I loved her!)
I didn't get started until 11:00.
About an hour later they started coming harder and more painful. Sometime after 1 I asked to be checked so I could get some Stadahl. (I wasn't getting an epidural, I didn't want one again.) I was only to a 4.
This was going to take forever!
Not!
She was born at 2:08 pm. I pushed once. They unwrapped the cord from her neck. I pushed again and she was out!
Every time we have had a baby Beau has been able to be with me. And for that I am so thankful! He is completely amazing and comforting to me. It is such a bonding experience for us. After our babies have been born I watch him to see what he is doing. He always has had tears in his eyes. I love him so much. His love for me and our kids is incredible and I am so grateful he is mine!
Everyday I get so excited about what I should dress her in today! Its so much fun! And at night too! Pink jammies are way cute! But whats even more fun then that is holding her and watching her and listening to her. I love the noises babies make! The boys LOVE her! Tanner sings to her. Hayden bounces her and has even burped her for me! Mason is my helper. Doing everything he can to help! If he can't see the baby he asks "Where's my Emmaree?" He tells us all the time that he likes his baby! They have all vowed to always watch out for their little sister. We named her after her Great Grandpa Tubbs. His name was Emery. So we changed it into the feminine form. Emmaree. I just love it. Once we heard this name we always knew if we had a little girl that's what her name would be. Beau and my dad picked Erin. Its my middle name. I've always liked my middle name and it sounds pretty with Emmaree. She is so beautiful and sweet. I fall more in love every moment.

I'm crying. Yea, that's right, I'm lame and emotional and need to stop watching the baby story and reading your posts! I agree 100% though that delivery of kids is the most bonding...and I love when Jase has a tear in his eye after I push those suckers out, and I'm soo happy to hear you did it w/o an epidural...I need to hear more stories like that....I'm so stupid I'm thinking about doing it drug free again...I've started praying already for a baby smaller than 10lbs...I think I coudl handle 10...but not another 11. Anyway, she's adorable, and this is the pinkest post I've ever seen on anybody's blog. haha!
