Ready for Winter!

We finally got to go woodcutting last weekend! Every year we go at least once. Last year we went 3 times and I think Beau is planning on going again this weekend. This year we all crowded in Beau's old ford , we said a prayer that we'd make it all right and we headed out towards Heber!

It took us a while but we finally got the old truck loaded! Beau cut and chopped the wood into halves or quarters and the boys brought them to the truck where I stacked em! Last year Beau made some custom racks for the back of his truck so we could stack a lot of wood in there and of course they worked great! The boys were great helpers, they only complained a little!

Now we have plenty of wood for the winter! We bought a wood stove a few years ago and we love it! It works so good and there is nothing like the warmth, smell and sound of a fire! I can't wait! (Not to mention the money it saves from running the heater all the time!)
